Students completing Certificate IV in Community Services are presenting a project this week to create a sense of community on campus, raise awareness, and generate discussion about the need for more blood and organ donors. The student-led event ‘Blood 4 the Border’ will be held this Wednesday 30 October 2019 from 12pm-2pm on campus with a fun Halloween theme.

Wodonga TAFE has completed the installation of 600 kilowatts of rooftop solar panels (1584 total) across its McKoy Street campus, TAFESpace and Logic Centre facilities  to reduce environment impact. The solar panels have officially been turned on and are already significantly reducing Wodonga TAFE’s carbon footprint.

Congratulations to Wodonga TAFE student Paige Mountford! Paige has been confirmed as a finalist for the 2019 Victorian Training Awards for School-based Trainee of the year! Paige is currently working towards completing a Certificate III in Agriculture through the Wodonga TAFE, AG SCHOOLS program, all the while studying at Castlemaine Secondary College and working at and Ganado Greys.
