Staff from Wodonga TAFE were invited to attend the New Year’s Eve – Take 2 event in Corryong on Friday the 31st January. The event was organised by the Corryong community and was aimed at supporting locals who had a horrific New Year’s Eve due to the devastation of the bush fires.

Wodonga TAFE are developing a brand new training centre for students of the Early Childhood Education and Care qualification that is set to lead the way for the future training of this industry. The centre is to be built within the current Kids on Campus Early Learning Centre that is already there.

Wodonga TAFE's Certificate III in Horticulture students had a number of winning entries in the Albury Horticultural Society’s Horticulture competition at the Albury Show last month. The students were also lucky enough to have the competition count as part of an assessment for their ‘Prepare specialised plants’ class here at TAFE.

On October 24, Wodonga TAFE successfully hosted the borders largest career event, Work ConnectED.
In collaboration with TAFE NSW, Wodonga TAFE hosted Work ConnectED, with the aim of connecting job seekers, career changers and students with potential employers within the Albury Wodonga region.

Students completing Certificate IV in Community Services are presenting a project this week to create a sense of community on campus, raise awareness, and generate discussion about the need for more blood and organ donors. The student-led event ‘Blood 4 the Border’ will be held this Wednesday 30 October 2019 from 12pm-2pm on campus with a fun Halloween theme.
