Specialist Homelessness Sector Training

Change to delivery of the specialist homelessness sector training calendar

As of 1 January 2021, the Council to Homeless Persons (CHP) will be responsible for the delivery of the SHS Training Calendar over the next three years from 1 January 2021 to 30 December 2023.

In the near future, more information will be provided regarding the future short course calendar, how to register, and how to provide suggestions or feedback in relation to the selection of SHS short courses. Please note: given the COVID-19 restrictions, training will only be available online until further notice and this may limit some of the short courses available.

Wodonga TAFE has enjoyed the past few years connecting with the Homelessness sector and developing the DHHS training calendar based on regional developmental needs. Our team is also very excited for the new model of professional development for the sector that will evolve through CHP, along with the development of capability for services in line with the sector-wide capability framework for staff.
