**NEW REGIONAL ACCESS OPPORTUNITY: Learn locally while you gain skills and confidence for your career!**
Wodonga TAFE’s new ‘Regional Access Project’ aims to enable students from regional communities to connect into a real time course at Wodonga TAFE in 2021. This pilot project will offer participants the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification with the Certificate III in Tourism SIT30116, along with skills in retail, customer service, RSA, food safety, and more. Course graduates will be well-equipped for a career - whether they choose tourism, or step into another service industry such as hospitality, retail, or small business. Commencing in February 2021, this initial course will see students able to connect online via Wodonga TAFE’s virtual classroom to engage in classes with students at the TAFE’s McKoy Street campus. Participation for rural remote students in this course will require reliable access to the internet and a computer with current software. Students will be able to connect from their home computer or visit their local Neighbourhood House for access and support to learn online.
