The 2019 North East Food and Wine Festival will be held at Junction Place, Wodonga, on Saturday 16 March. Spanning across Junction Square, Church Street and the new Richardson Park.
2019 will see the Festival as a twilight event, so you can get your commitments out of the way and beat the heat, from 3pm to 8pm.
Enjoy food and beverage stalls, live entertainment, childrens activities and more! A free event for all ages.
Why do we do it?
We’re excited about driving tourism opportunities to Wodonga and providing linkage with other Murray Regional tourism, Riverina Regional tourism and North East Region tourism offerings.
What’s this all about?
The North East Food & Wine Festival is instrumental in developing a sustainable food tourism market for the North East. It’s a grand community effort that builds economic resilience for local business.
Wodonga and its surrounds provide unique, rich and authentic culinary experiences…that everyone needs to experience.
Events like this act as a vital economic driver to the region, and this Festival provides real-life, paid work experience for a number of Wodonga TAFE's students. It’s a grand stage for several study areas including hospitality, interior design, events management, photography, and sound production.
The festival is run by Wodonga TAFE in collaboration with an experienced team of industry professionals.
