How to Apply
Please note it is compulsory to have an email address to enrol at Wodonga TAFE.
Follow the steps below to apply for a course and start your enrolment with Wodonga TAFE.
1. Create your Unique Student Identifier (USI)
Visit www.usi.gov.au to create your USI. You must supply your USI and have it verified by our Customer Service team before a statement of attainment or qualification can be issued when you complete your course.
2. Find the course you are interested in applying for
Each course has a detailed information page so you can find out more about what you will be learning, where your campus is, what days and hours you need to attend, and what fees may apply to you.
If you are not sure about which course suits you, contact our Customer Service team for information or to arrange an appointment to chat with a Course Counsellor about your options.
3. Check the entry requirements
The course entry requirements will let you know whether you must attend an information session before you enrol, and whether you need to have completed previous study or have work experience.
4. Complete the application process
Once you have found the course that fits your requirements, follow the steps listed in its application procedure to complete your application.
5. Complete a pre-training review
To help ensure your learning is a success we will ask you for some additional information, such as why you have chosen the course you are applying for. We may also ask about previous training that you have done, and about your work history, to help us identify opportunities where you may gain recognition of prior learning or credit transfer.
We will ask you whether you require any additional support, and we will have you complete an academic assessment. With the information you provide, we will be able to assess your academic skill levels and your suitability for your chosen course or identify the most appropriate pathway for you. This process is a pre-training review and is part of the course application process.
This pre-training review will also allow you to access any government support with your course fees that you may be eligible for, such as access to Victorian Government subsidised training.
We will review your application and if you meet the entry requirements you will be admitted into your chosen course. If you do not meet the course entry requirements we will work with you to identify other learning opportunities that may help prepare you to meet the requirements.
