Wodonga TAFE student represents at national World Skills competition

Wodonga TAFE student and apprentice baker, Bryce Johnstone, recently competed at the national World Skills competition held in Brisbane. Over 500 students from 50 different trades met to compete at the Brisbane Exhibition Centre between the 7th and 10th May 2010.

Bryce represented Wodonga TAFE and the Riverina Murray team after winning at the regional level earlier this year.  He competed in Brisbane against five other bakers, narrowly missing out on a place.

Bryce, a 3rd year apprentice from Beechworth Bakery, trained extremely hard for this competition, practicing up to 3-4 hours per day after finishing his shifts at the bakery.

We are extremely proud of Bryce’s efforts and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

Well done Bryce!
