Learning at Wodonga TAFE

Study at Wodonga TAFE is based on the principles of adult learning. Adult learning recognises that the student is an adult in the learning process, and focuses on students taking responsibility for their own learning. This means that you are responsible for acquiring the skills, knowledge, and attitudes you need to become a competent practitioner. Wodonga TAFE provides you with the framework to achieve this. Learning in this way may be different from your past experiences of education as the focus is on the student and teacher working together to achieve the identified performance criteria of the course.

The rights and responsibilities of students at Wodonga TAFE are outlined in a learner charter. This charter is shown below but you will also find it displayed prominently on noticeboards around the campus.
