Graduation

You are entitled to graduate with an accredited certificate when you have completed all the requirements of your course at Wodonga TAFE. Usually, your statement of results and certificate will be sent to you a few weeks after you have completed your studies.

Please note that you may not be entitled to receive a certificate if you are not enrolled in a complete qualification.

It is possible that you complete all course requirements some time during a semester. Please bring this to the attention of your course coordinator to start the process of applying for your certificate.

Your teaching department at Wodonga TAFE will host at least one graduation ceremony each year, usually in March or April of the following year. All graduates will be invited to attend this ceremony to receive recognition of their achievements and to celebrate with peers, staff, and family.

You will still be invited to attend the graduation ceremony if you have already received your certificate in the mail. At the graduation ceremony, you will be presented with a recognition of achievement certificate. If you would rather not receive your certificate until the graduation ceremony, you will need to inform your course coordinator at the appropriate time so that this can be organised for you.

Graduates are asked to communicate as required with teaching department staff regarding their attendance at graduation ceremonies.

Important note

To receive your award, you must make sure that all your payments/enrolment fees (including library fines, childcare fees, and so on) have been paid. Your qualification will not be issued if you have outstanding fees or payments.

Awards ceremony

In addition to your departmental graduation ceremony, Wodonga TAFE also holds an awards ceremony for the conferring of specific awards to those students who have achieved outstanding results. You will be notified by mail if you have been nominated to receive such an award.
