Many graduates of MTA courses gain employment in technical positions across the motorsports industry. MTA currently runs two full-time courses, each of 12 months duration, and short courses in performance engine building and fibreglass techniques.

We have a number of places left in our Certificate III in Motorsports course. If you want to work gain practical experience with Go-Karts, Formula Fords and even V8 Supercars, then don’t miss out - enrol now!

The course also covers:

  • data logging and race vehicle set-up, including suspension (tyres and vehicle configuration), and auto electrical (including wiring looms and charging systems.
  • machining, fabrication, computer-aided design (CAD), and composite materials.
  • working in a motorsport environment in race teams and trackside, applying diagnostic procedures, and maintaining and preparing race vehicles.
