About this course

Learn to test and tag. Ideal for small businesses, this 12-hour course provides training in the use of portable test equipment for the testing and tagging of electrical appliances and leads. You gain the skills and knowledge you need to visually inspect leads and appliances, and to use portable appliance testers.

What you learn

Course content includes:

  • electrical hazards and safety
  • Australian Standards AS/NZS3760 and AS3019
  • visual inspection
  • types of test equipment
  • appliance testing.

Entry requirements

We recommend that you have completed Year 10 or that you enrol as a mature-aged student.

Time 4pm-10pm.
