About this course
During this short course you will learn the process of surveying pest animal abundance and will cover the following:
- Conducting ground counts
- Identifying the target pest animal and its associated behaviours
- Defining the geographical parameters for the count
- Applying survey principles and techniques
- Undertaking accurate observations and recording
- Pest behaviour and habitats
- Legislative and regulatory requirements.
This course is suitable for people who are interested in conservation, land management, environment, agriculture or similar industries.
