About this course

During this short course you will learn the process of surveying pest animal abundance and will cover the following:

  • Conducting ground counts
  • Identifying the target pest animal and its associated behaviours
  • Defining the geographical parameters for the count
  • Applying survey principles and techniques
  • Undertaking accurate observations and recording
  • Pest behaviour and habitats
  • Legislative and regulatory requirements.

This course is suitable for people who are interested in conservation, land management, environment, agriculture or similar industries.
