About this course
This truck driver training course provides you with the training you need to undertake an assessment for a multi combination (MC) licence, as required by VicRoads and RTA (NSW). We conduct MC training in our Kenworth T408 prime mover with 18-speed Road Ranger gearbox. This offers an unrestricted licence. We are well placed in Northeast Victoria to provide experience with various terrain and road conditions, which will enhance your driving skills to become an effective MC driver. Training includes coupling procedures, reversing and driving techniques, along with an informative theory presentation. Training and licensing can be conducted using the client’s vehicle if preferred. Training is conducted at National Industrial Skills Training Centre, Moorefield Park Drive, Wodonga: www.wodongatafe.edu.au/maps. Training may be arranged at your workplace.

What to bring
Please bring original documentation for proof of identity - drivers licence. Wear suitable clothing and footwear (safety shoes/boots preferred). Bring your work diary.

Entry requirements
Participants must have held a heavy rigid (HR) or heavy combination (HC) licence for a minimum of 12 months and must hold a current heavy combination endorsement, prior to commencing training. This means that heavy rigid drivers must pass the heavy combination assessment prior to being accepted on our multi combination course.
NSW: Applicants must collect a medical form from the RTA, then undertake a medical assessment. Return the completed medical form to the RTA where you will be required to complete the knowledge test and obtain a confirmation letter which is required by the trainer to confirm approval for training.
VIC: Theory assessment is conducted at the National Industrial Training Centre and is included in the training. Applicants on prescribed medication must undertake a medical assessment, and provide results to VicRoads prior to confirmation of booking.
