About this course
This program provides students with the knowledge and skills to manufacture patterns and hence create moulds to make fibreglass components.
All personal protective equipment is provided and students learn to read and interpret technical drawings, cut and fabricate materials to make patterns, or plugs, prepare the patterns and produce functional moulds. Students will initially be assigned a pattern to make, but there may be scope to later manufacture a pattern of their own choosing. This will however be at the discretion of the trainer/assessor.
