Where this course may lead

As a visual merchandiser, you work in the event, exhibition, or retail industries to present and maintain an organisation's image, service, and merchandise to its clients and customers.

This course may lead you to career paths in event organisation, exhibition design, or retail visual merchandising.

What you learn

You learn about design concepts and space management, including developing a general knowledge of design techniques. You also develop an understanding of store layout, concept visuals, and the retail market, along with the career options available.

Entry requirements

  • Students are selected through an interview process.
  • You need sound English language and literacy skills.

Assessment

The level of competency you develop from your training will be assessed using the following methods:

  • You will be assessed on completion of allocated assignments and presentation of projects.

Your teachers will provide you with more information on specific requirements at the start of each unit and they will assist with any support you may need.

If you successfully complete this course, you will receive an AQF qualification.
