Overview

Where this course may lead

Make your own future career sustainable! Wodonga TAFE offers the Diploma of Sustainability as a dual diploma qualification for current or past diploma students, in any study area or industry sector. The Diploma of Sustainability is designed for delivery as a dual qualification in conjunction with a number of relevant diplomas.

The skills and knowledge that you gain will enable you to embed sustainability principles and strategies into your everyday work practices. You will be better equipped to understand the economic, social and environmental implications of different industries and able to develop your own thinking around sustainability practices.

What you learn

This course explores the concepts and principles of sustainability, enabling you to develop the skills and knowledge you need to implement sustainable practices in the workplace. This course provides:

  • an understanding of the key sustainability concepts, principles, and issues, and an introduction to tools used to measure and assess our sustainability impacts
  • an insight into behaviour-change strategies and an opportunity to design and implement a program for sustainable behaviour change, and the skills to analyse and prepare a ‘triple bottom line’ business case to assist with sustainable decision-making.
