About this course
This transportation of dangerous goods course provides you with the necessary training and assessment that is required by statutory authorities to allow you, as a driver, to apply for or renew your bulk transportation of dangerous goods licence.
What you learn
Standards and regulations
Classes of dangerous goods covered are 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8, and 9
HAZCHEM system.
Entry requirements
You must be:
- at least 21 years of age
- able to pass a prescribed medical test.
What to bring
- Please bring original documentation for proof of identity. Photo ID is mandatory.
- Wear suitable clothing and footwear.
All course notes and books are supplied.

Course duration 2 days (new licence, Victoria and NSW) | Time 8am-4.30pm

Assessment is written.
Note Additional EPA (NSW) fees apply.
Outcomes
If you successfully complete this course, you receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the following course.
- 30744QLD Course in the transport of dangerous goods by road.
Drivers from Victoria and NSW must successfully complete the 2-day course for the dangerous goods licence.
