About this course

Entry requirements

  • Level 1, trim and crosscut is an entry requirement for felling courses.
  • You must be physically fit.
  • You need your own transport to the worksite as felling sites are in remote areas.

This qualification is a mandatory requirement (in Victoria) for the operation of chainsaws in the forest environment.

What to bring

  • Please bring original documentation for proof of identity. Photo ID is mandatory.
  • Wear suitable clothing and footwear. Safety shoes or boots preferred.

All course notes and books are supplied.

Hard hats, high visibility vests, and hearing protection are provided.
