Where this course may lead

This course gives you a pathway to employment as a practicing artist or an arts administrator or to further study at diploma level.

What you learn

You develop creative skills and expertise in contemporary visual art and craft practice. You learn skills in painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and fibre/textiles.

Course duration 6-12 months

Course mode Full-time or part-time on campus.

Entry requirements

You will need to demonstrate your creative skills in a portfolio interview before being accepted into the course.

Assessment

The level of competency you develop from your training will be assessed using the following methods:

• Observation, questioning and practical demonstration through port folio, visual diary and exhibition.

Your teachers will provide you with more information on specific requirements at the start of each unit and they will assist with any support you may need.

Outcomes and accreditations

On successful completion of this course, you receive an AQF qualification and a statement of attainment listing all units.
