Where this course may lead

Completion of this course may enable you to start a career as an accredited trainer and assessor either with a registered training organisation or in a workplace carrying out internal training.

You gain national recognition for your workplace training role and optimise training outcomes in your workplace.

Entry requirements

  • There are no formal pre-requisites for this qualification. You will be required to use technology throughout the course.
  • Ideally, you are working in, or have access to, an environment where training and assessment occurs as the units in this course are designed to be practised and assessed in the workplace.

Assessment

The level of competency you develop from your training will be assessed using the following methods:

  • written assignments
  • projects/portfolios
  • practical demonstrations
  • interview
  • observation in the workplace.

Your teachers will provide you with more information on specific requirements at the start of each unit and will support you as you complete all assessments.

Outcomes and accreditations

If you successfully complete this course, you receive an AQF qualification.
