Where this course may lead

Completion of this course is desirable if you are working or want to work in the financial services industry.

What you learn

You develop skills required to manage the account process, or work as a junior or assistant accountant.

You learn about processing business tax requirements, job costings and budgets, financial statements, and making decisions in a legal context.

Course duration 6-12 months | Course mode Traineeship or distance education.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements. However, completion of the Certificate III in  Accounts Administration or current employment in the financial services industry is to your advantage.

Assessment

The level of competency you develop from your training will be assessed using the following methods:

• Your assessment tasks are assignment-based.

Your teachers will provide you with more information on specific requirements at the start of each unit and they will assist with any support you may need.

Outcomes and accreditations

If you successfully complete this course, you receive an AQF qualification and a statement of attainment listing all units that you have completed.

Successful completion of this course also provides you with a pathway for entry into further studies.
