Successful completion of this course may help you to find work as a sales assistant, a customer service representative, a crew leader, a shift manager, a team leader, a department manager, an assistant store manager, a checkout supervisor, or a merchandise coordinator.

Entry requirements

There are no formal pre-requisites for this qualification. However, you need to be registered as a trainee and in current employment.

Assessment

The level of competency you develop from your training will be assessed using the following methods:

• Observation at work, Observation in simulated environment (e.g. at TAFE), Project / assignment / activity, Practical assessment, On-the-job assessment, Interview / oral questioning, Portfolio of your work, Third party (workplace) report, Learning Journal.

Your teachers will provide you with more information on specific requirements at the start of each unit and they will assist with any support you may need.

Outcomes and accreditations

If you successfully complete this course, you receive an AQF qualification.
