Entry requirements

There are no formal pre-requisites for this qualification. We recommend that you have completed Year 10 as a minimum, or that you enrol as a mature-aged student. Relevant training and experience are to your advantage.

Assessment

The level of competency you develop from your training will be assessed using the following methods:

  • Observation, questioning, case studies, practical demonstrations, and theory tests in a variety of settings including Wodonga TAFE's Valleys Restaurant.

Your teachers will provide you with more information on specific requirements at the start of each unit and they will assist with any support you may need.

Outcomes and accreditations

If you successfully complete this course, you receive an AQF qualification.
