About this course

This fatigue management course provides you with the necessary training required to enable you to apply for accreditation in basic fatigue management (BFM) or advanced fatigue management (AFM).

What you learn

  • You learn the tools you need to manage drivers who work in excess of 12 hours per day.
  • Monitor the implementation of fatigue management strategies
  • Recognise breaches of fatigue management policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Develop and assess staff competence of fatigue management
  • Provide feedback to employees on short­comings in fatigue management skills and knowledge
  • Report on the implementation of fatigue management policy
  • Understand driving hours
  • Understand breaches and penalties
  • Explain work diaries
  • Understand the auditing process.
