Youth pathways support

There are so many choices to make when you make decisions about further education and careers. Sometimes, it can be hard to know where to start. Wodonga Institute provides many different services to help you work out what course to study, and also to help you while you are completing your studies.

The 'Youth pathways' program is an initiative of the Victorian government to specifically help students who are aged between 15 and 19 years access the resources they need and develop the skills and knowledge that will help them move smoothly through their education and later into the workforce.

If you are aged between 15 and 19 years and have not completed Year 12 or are not in full-time employment, the 'Youth pathways' program can help you:

  • decide on a course
  • enrol in the course you choose
  • make a resumé
  • find a job
  • with transport
  • find accommodation
  • contact other support services (for example, counselling)
  • talk to Centrelink
  • set goals
  • get study support
  • overcome things that may stop you from studying
  • with general support and encouragement during your studies.

Please contact Student Services for more information or to speak with a member of the youth pathways team.

Come see us at PIT STOP (between buildings D and E), weekdays 9am-4pm.
