Generalist counselling

We recognise that a supportive environment contributes to the success and confidence of students at all stages of study. Most of the time, tertiary study is interesting and stimulating. However, sometimes personal or academic difficulties intervene.

Confidential counselling about any issues which may arise and present difficulties during a course of study is available to all students. The service is free to students. Counselling staff are highly qualified and experienced. Issues which may arise include:

  • adjustment to living away from home
  • personal and relationship problems
  • health/mental health issues
  • study motivation
  • financial stress
  • study skills
  • time management
  • exam preparation.

Please phone Student Services, or come and see us on the ground floor of Building A, to make an appointment.
