Aboriginal liaison officer
Wodonga Institute of TAFE is committed to provide opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) learners to successfully complete their chosen courses of study, in an environment that is welcoming and culturally appropriate for them.
The Aboriginal liaison officer supports and provides assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners. This support can include helping learners through the enrolment process and linking them with appropriate services such as:
- study skills
- disability support
- counsellors
- financial assistance
- accommodation
- Centrelink.
