Wodonga TAFE diploma and advanced diploma scholarships
To assist students in studying at Wodonga TAFE, a scholarship fund has been established by Wodonga TAFE to support students in paying the course fees associated with enrolling in selected diplomas and advanced diplomas at Wodonga TAFE.
Scholarships will be awarded to those students who can clearly demonstrate interest in their industry or career of choice. This could include evidence of undertaking work experience in the industry or by providing a compelling explanation of why this career has been chosen.

Awards
Wodonga Institute of TAFE celebrates the achievements of its students with the annual Student Achievement Awards ceremony. Students from all areas of study can be nominated by their teachers, with over 60 awards presented. In many instances, the awards recognise people who act as positive role models and who push the boundaries of their learning experience. Many students juggle their studies with family, work, social and community commitments, making their achievements even more impressive.
The major awards include the Eddie Kneebone Scholarship, awarded annually to a student who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to learning as a way of making a positive change to their life. The award is presented in recognition of the late Mr Eddie 'Kookaburra' Kneebone and his service to Wodonga Institute, its staff, and its students. Eddie was employed as a teacher at Wodonga Institute in 1995 and later took on the role of artist-in-residence. It was Eddie's firm belief that 'learning' is the key to success in life, for all people, indigenous and non indigenous.
An industry award is also presented to a business in recognition of that organisation's commitment to vocational education and training.
Wodonga Institute of TAFE's awards for outstanding students of the year are also awarded in the categories of apprentice, trainee, Koori, and vocational. Recipients of these awards are then eligible for nomination in the Victorian Training Awards.
