Flexible learning

Wodonga Institute of TAFE offers you a range of options for when, where, and how you study. You may be able to study all or part of your course at your own pace, in a place that suits you.

Anytime learning

Flexible and off-campus options include the following.

  • Self-paced courses or subjects allow you to complete your studies in your own time and at your own pace. Resources may be paper-based, on CD-ROM, or online. When you have enrolled, we send you the resources (or access details), and the contact details of your teacher.
  • Online courses can be fully accredited long courses, or short courses. You access the course materials online with access to communication hubs and private chat areas where you can talk with your teachers and fellow students.
  • Flexible delivery is available for some courses, and you may study parts of some courses on campus and other parts through self-paced learning.

  • offer training to teach professionals and industry trainers how to use online learning techniques
  • provide information about studying through the TAFE Virtual Campus, a Victorian online educational platform that offers access to a range of courses. View courses on the TAFE Virtual Campus at http://www.tafevc.com.au

Regional study centre

Wodonga Institute of TAFE provides a study centre as part of our ongoing commitment to regional communities. Featuring networked computers with current hardware and software, and access to the internet and printers, the study centre allows students access to assistance from teachers, information resources, and general course and study information and support. The study centre is open to anyone enrolled in a course with Wodonga Institute, either on or off campus, and is an additional resource to the support offered by on-campus teachers.

For more information about how the study centre can help you, please contact the study skills coordinator.
